While at the College of William and Mary, Megan got involved with the special needs community through an organization called Buddy Art.
Buddy Art is a weekly enrichment program where kids with special needs are paired with a buddy to do arts and crafts and play games.

Over the past few years, Megan has been a nanny to around 5 older teens that are in need of long term medical care due to physical and mental differences.

This led to a career in teaching communication and being a special needs educator with emphasis on the autism community.
